The Slingshot Gremlin is a culmination of all the surf shapes that have come before; years of Slingshot design led to bottom turning, lip smashing, poppy surfing animal. Thanks to its fast-paced tapered design and rounded surf rails, the Gremlin rides smooth but carries a heap of speed while being incredibly nimble through the turn with barely any effort required to leverage. With a construction that consists of a hybrid design, an EPS core, and a durable outer shell, the Gremlin remains wildly light and durable. It doesn’t stop there, though, as they are reinforced with a carbon matrix overlay to give the board increased torsional strength and aggression to really snap through turns. Materials & Construction XR Construction – A hybrid EPS Foam Core with a durable outer that creates a light and nimble finish that is easy to throw through an edge. Carbon Matrix Overlay – Giving added stiffness and strength through the top half of the board, allowing for a snappy response on transitions. Shape Tapered Design – Shaped more like a fast-paced surfboard, this shape will respond through edges with increased speed and pump like no tomorrow. Split Tail – Adds more drive to the board and creates better hold through your edges. Base Quad Step Down Rail Channel – This channel system is designed to create greater leverage when cutting into the wave without sacrificing speed Rail Blended Rail – A rounded, more forgiving rail through the centre and nose of the board that flows to a sharper tail rail giving you forgiving turns on your front foot but a fast-paced response and power up the wave.
