Barefoot International Barefoot Start Handle The Barefoot International Barefoot Start Handle is a 15″ barefoot deep start handle built on Poly-E rope, with styrofoam floats on each side, a T-bar in the clear plastic section ahead of the loop, and a 5ft total length. The T-bar is the key feature — it gives both feet a defined landing spot during the deep start, so foot placement is consistent attempt to attempt. Built on the same 15″ Poly-E core as the Wake Handle, the Start Handle adds the T-bar foot platform to address the single biggest hurdle for new barefooters: getting the feet planted in the right position before the boat lifts the body out of the water. Choose this handle if you are learning to barefoot ski and working your first successful deep starts.
